When i look at a line (*a line on a page or modern art), i think of all sorts of shapes, and the possibility of whats on the other side. What it makes when drawn askew or rotated, you know it could be a circle caught off guard, viewed straight down the side...
What is your favourite shape and why?

Circles - you can never have too many and they always are so neat and tidy without being blocky

A five pointed star (like - the Star of David) - all those angles and corners to peer round, never ending points of opportunity - all the different triangles within the whole shape of the star- carry the lines through from one point to another and you have angles upon angles, stars within stars - then do it all again in three dimension - it's magic!

I think the pyramid would be my most favorite shape. I am in awe of the real thing anyway, for people to know that hey, even ancient history was full of intelligence. Also, it's like reaching the pinnacle of a surmounting height.

I love circles. With a large enough circle you can make any other shape. Try it with a loop of chain! It even fits your line as you so cleverly described... Nature has few straight lines!!

Your question has left me speechless and that doesn't happen often! After thinking over for a few minutes I've just realized that I do not have any favourite shape! How tragic!.........But hang on, I think I do like all shapes and sizes, hearts, ovals, circles, squares, triangles, rectangles...especially if they taste of good Belgian chocolate!

Mine's a circle, a full one, empty at the centre.
Hmmm...then again maybe a triangle (equilateral).
Hmmm.
Ok, a triangle then...1+1=3
See Wassily Kandinsky (point and line to plane (or facet).
Facets make objects and people, like computer games (polygons). Hmmm...;-)

My favourite shape is no shape, there are no boundaries and nothing to use as a guide. Just space upon space to be filled and filled with whatever you imagine.

i think circles are bad, they just go round and round.. never ending never moving forward always going back to the start.. not good.

I think squares are just as bad as circles but at least you can turn a few corners along your path...

I think stars are far tooo up and down..a little more stability is required....

so the answer to your question is.......... a line with bends, curves and points with no ending...continuing its path......
