Does the FoodSaver require different sealers for each different type or jar?

I have a brand new FoodSaver with the canisters and sealing lids. Can I use the canister lid sealers on mason jars or do I have to buy separate sealers for the wide mouth and regular mouth mason jars? It came without the box and/or instructions.

you need a special lid for mason jars. good news is you can use the same one for both wide and regular mouth jars. i got mine at walmart they have a whole section of foodsaver accessories.
