What file formats does the iPod nano support (meaning does it support wma files?)

Technically, yes, iPod supports wma files. When you insert the file into iTunes, it will convert it to an MP4 file, which can then be used on the iPod.

in audio just mp4 and mp3.. in video mpeg 4... you can switch formats with the ROXIO EMC9 software
