Does mixing vinegar with baking soda explode faster than mixing vinegar, baking soda, and water?

because adding water dilutes the vinegar (which is known as a weak concentration of acetic acid if you wanted to know)....reaction is realtion to the concentration so the water dilutes it therefore decreasing the concentration...with only the vinegar and baking soda it would react more quickly because of the higher concentration of acetic acid....good luck! I did the same project when I was in grade 5....I am now in university and it was one of my favourites!!!!!

Oh, yeah!! Definitely! See, water dilutes the vinegar so it's not as powerful when it combines with the baking soda. It will still explode, but not nearly as much as if you leave out the water.

i would think that vinegar and baking soda would be faster cuz the water would dilute the vinegar so i would personaly think that it wouldnt work as well

i'm not sure but in my opinion water is just going to wash down the ingredients
