NO! I don't even know what kind of laptop you have but I can guarantee that unless you have a Vtech kids laptop that 300mA is NOT going to be nearly enough. I'd expect somewhere along the lines of 3000mA. You also have to match voltage and polarity or you're going to smoke your laptop.

if what you are trying to do is replace your laptop's ac adapter, just for your info, mine is 3.41A or 3410mA for a Turion64, about the same must be ifit was a dual core... maybe even for a pentium 4 you'd need something like that.
