My friends are kinda geeky and its ruining my highschool image and i have a rep. to keep

You have to be a TRUE friend & not to be rude, but it doesn't really sound like you are. True friends don't care if being around their friend is making them "popular." They don't care 'cuz they love & respect their friends for who they are. Remember: Popularity gets thrown in the trash after high school. 20 years from now when one of your classmates is looking at their old yearbook, what do you want them to tell their kids about you? They'll either say, "She was so nice & she didn't care what people thought.", or they'll say, "I never liked her in school 'cuz she was one of those popular people that made everyone feel bad about themselves." Everyone's a good person at heart & I know that you know that not being their friend 'cuz it's not making you popular is wrong. Your friends have accepted you & now you need to return the favor. After all, NO ONE is perfect, not even the popular people who think they are. If your reputation gets ruined, so what? You'll always have those friends with you. People that think you're a nerd just 'cuz you want to spend time with people that aren't so high class, are NOT your real friends. They're just looking for what's in & once it's out, they move on. Be a true friend 'cuz there's not many out there. Good luck!

Friends are friends, if you are thinking that they are "geeky" and ruining your image in school that is just not something a real friend would think.
So you can either put your friends before your reputation, or just move on find other friends that are more your style.

First of all ask yourself whats more important, true friendship or your rep? If people can't except you because of the friends you choose then maybe their not really true friends. I understand your rep is important also, but just maybe if others see you happy and having a good time with these so called geeks then just maybe they will except them too!! Wouldn't that be great if everyone would just get a long with everyone! Good Luck Hun!

what the hell i have a rep no u don't u need to be proude that u have friends i have a rep thats bull i have friends that are sort of neerdy but i don't stop hanging out with them u need to think freinds for or just high school popularity i don't m,ean to sound harsh but i use to have a freind and now sh has turend in to a total slut talking bag well i hope i have helped good luck

i had all kinds of friends and still do. "geeky" people are cool. i think a person needs a variety. geeks grow up and become doctors and lawyers. i hate giving human beings names that are temporary, yet, damaging. ya know. i think you will figure this one out. friends are friends. if someone has a problem with that then look more closely, usually, they are shallow. being a trend starter. even if it is loving a person, loving a dear friend that happens to be (in some body's book) a "geek".

Better to have real friends, then ones you acquired while trying to impress them! trust me, image is not everything. So what if you're popular? And? That's pretty much where it stops. I would rather have a bunch of not so cool friends who like me for me, then a bunch of kids who think they're too cool, and out of my league!

I hope this is a joke. Otherwise you're shallow and stupid, and obviously don't understand the value of friendship. If you're worried about your image then find some other bubble-headed preppy kids and be *their* friend.

who cares about your image? when you look back on it, you'll think high school was stupid. but you're friends were always there for you. and that's all that really mattered.

if they're your friends just please do not dump them, especially for that reason!! that is something they will always remember!!
