I'm turining 13 in March and I have a real Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton purses. Is that too much for a 13 year old or is it normal?

Yes, but hopefully it will teach you how to take care of valuable things in the future. Just don't take nice things for granted.

I think it's a bit too much. But it's depend on where you live. If you come of a rich family, you go in a school with people of you're class, i think it's just fun. But think to the price of it. It's about a thousand of dollar usually (1000 $), so it's not everyone who can afford this, for a purse. It's not "normal" for a 13 years old girl, i'm 14, and i never, never saw a teenager on my age with a Gucci Purse, or some very expensive brands. So, but if it's your "everyday world", like with brands like that, go for it. But you're lucky, i love Chanel, and LV, but i can't afford it, and i don't think i want spend one thousand of dollards i earn hard for a purse...But if it's your choice...

That depends. If you are wearing the purses because you *earned them then no, Chanel is perfect for you. Good behavior deserves good rewards and if your parents have the money to buy those things for you then that's fine. If you are a back talking little brat like the ones on "Sweet 16" then yes, Chanel is too much for you and someone needs to bring you back down to earth but since you are even asking the question, you care enough to ask, that shows me that you do realize that you are privileged and you don't take that for granted. Good for you.

Yes it is too much for a 13-year-old... There! I come from a rich family and I my parents bought me a Christian Lacroix Jacket and now that I'm older I was thinking: Did that really happen?? Don't! You're young so think of it this way: With the money for a Louis vuitton bag you can buy much more stuff.. therefore more clothes and accessories instead of this one bag!!

Yes, it is too much but perhaps you can ask for a small oz. bottle of No. 5 that comes with a tote. That way, you can say you have a real Chanel bag w/out lying. They run between $60-75 and may be cheaper during the holidays.

normal my mom started buying me louis vuitton from when i was 2 years old and now im 19 imagine how much i had when i was 13

My daughter had them - but she was careful not to take them to school. She loves purses and at 19 still does. Thank goodness she is in college now, she is oging to need a good job.

It is a little much... but dont worry about it! Because if you appreciate the people who are getting these things for you and work hard, then you totally deserve them. It also depends if you want them because you REALLY REALLY adore them, or because you just want to be popular in school, like a lot of kids. I doubt that one though. =)

for me... too much. people need to place more value on people... not what they have and or wear. don't get me wrong... i love a lot of that stuff also but at 13 it will be easy to get caught up in the name brand world. And really.... how can you really appreciate it when you have no concept of working and paying for it yourself...
