I'm starting college this January and I'm going to major in electrical engineering and maybe double major in computer engineering.

What would the difference be between having a BS and a MS in EE and/or CE? Other than more school and higher starting pay.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!
You think it will get you higher pay, and it would, if you could actually get hired. With this lull in the economy, companies are reluctant to higher those with double majors and masters as they have to pay them higher to start. Would you rather get paid a little less and get the job or know that you'll get a little more, if you can actually find a job? Besides, you must like torture. Go through it for 2 or 3 years and you'll want to kill yourself. You'll change majors eventually whether you heed my advice or not.

As an Engineer myself, I would advise you to get a BS in engineering and then an MBA. This will get you into the engineering / project management level which is where you want to be financially.
Engineering in itself, is a thankless profession.
Good luck.

mostly more school and higher pay

more and more interesting job prospects

ya can teach in a college with the MS I think, at least a Junior College

also more time in school, its funner than working in industry mostly, really

learn some strange computer language that banks use, then they might hire you for awhile at like $500 per hour, put it aside, go back to school then or retire

the opportunity is endless and the pay is much great greater. i believe the higher the education the better the opportunity plus if this is what you want. it more about self satisfaction. you be happy and would never ask yourself what if.
