I am tired of hearing how women just want guys for their money, it is not just women, men are exactly the same. Men treat women/ girls with money better than they treat poor girls. Women with money actually will have a relationship, girls that are poor are just considered sluts and are treated like crap, even if they are good girls, honest and loyal, it dosent matter even if they are beautiful, they are poor. I am tired of hearing how evil women are. All men are in search for girls that improve their economic status as well, men are equally as greedy. What do you think?

Greed is a mind set, a socialistic brainwashing so to speak. Everyone has to be greedy to a point, but once it becomes excessive, it is just silly, and vague. that don't matter if its man or woman. I make no judgments on the masses, stereotyping is a stigma I wish people would stop employing, because that turn the good eggs bad in a group.

I'm not sure that i agree with your assessment of men as looking for rich women.

Thats not always true.

Rich men really couldn't care less if a woman has money or not. As long as HE has the money and SHE's hot thats all tha matters to him. In fact, a rich man would probably prefer a woman with less money, because that women would be more dependent upon him and his money, and less likely to leave him. A woman with money is a threat to a man, because she is not dependent on him, she could leave any time.

That said, I do believe that men are indeed equally as greedy as women. I just dont think men are greedy in that they marry people for money. Men are greedy in other ways. Men are greedy about possessing a woman and her body. Men are greedy in the workplace. Men are greedy and so are women. Thats life. Neoclassical economics assumes that all human beings rational, selfish beings who do what is in their own best interest.

First of all those people that are telling you that crap are generalising, which they shouldn't. So i wouldn't let it bother you.

Im not exactly very well off.... yet i still carry myself with class and am not a sl*t! So even if i am "poor" i am no better or worse than the next person... not matter what anyone thinks!

I think most people are greedy and do stuff just to benefit themselves... but both sexes are like this... just in different ways though.

I say you give the people that tell you that crap a big f*** you and just carry on with your life not worrying what they think... cuz obviously they're losers and what they say doesn't count!

You are confusing a statistical tendency, that women have a secondary choice of wanting status and resources in a male, with a proscription of greed. The second most important thing for men in a mate is youth and beauty; I have never heard of a man discriminating, on average, by a females resources. Anecdote is not data. It does not matter what I think; the ethnographic data is quite clear on this subject, so your hypothesis is not well supported, except by uninformed opinion. That seems to pass for reality, here in the social science section.

Yeah, I think greed is an individualistic characteristic, not a gender-specific quality. But on the flip side, when you consider divorces, it's typically, though not always, that men are required to pay women...even when women HAVE equal opportunities and abilities to work.

some Men are greedy when it comes to a lot of things. Such as, they want their women to be beautiful and they want more of them. They want the best cars, the most money, the most of just about everything.

We all have a selfish nature... though it manifests in different ways, we all have to work hard to put others first. It is probably equal.
