bf2 update question? do i need an incremental update?

ok so i am lazy and never updated bf2 well since 1.4 came out it has become a problem (i get kicked out because i don't have the map). so i downloaded 1.4 (536mb) the full one and instauled it but i started it up and i minimised it and it said it was 1.2.something not 1.4 so do i need an incremental upgrade. like do i need to instaul 1.3 and 1.2 in order to get to 1.4? or does 1.4 include it all?

Ok I think the problem is yeah might have to download 1.2 , 1.3, 1.4, 1.41(new). But I think if you use the incremental 1.4 and then download 1.41 then you should be ok. A link is posted below.
