You shouldnt worry yet. Especially if this is your first pregnancy. While you're supposed to double your levels every day or two, some women simply dont produce a high level of hormones, and you are so incredibly barely pregnant at this point as it is that the levels will be low.

You need to switch doctors, while some things like this ARE cause for concern, they shouldnt be trying to alarm you in such a way that it leaves no hope. They will schedule for you to have more testing here in a week or so I would imagine, to check that the levels are still rising.

So long as the levels continue to go up, then everything should be fine. Its the increase of hormones that is the most important, not nessisarily the amounts.

If you're still low at the next check up, they will probably want to do an ultrasound at around 5-8 weeks to check on fetal development.

As far as miscarriage, there is no way of knowing at this point. As it is, your levels have gone up, and not down. They will go down or not rise once you miscarry, and thats what theyre looking for. At this point that hasnt happened.

Having doctors that cause this amount of concern and worry over things you have no control over is never good. They should be truthful and helpful, and serious, but they should also be encouraging, the stress and worry caused by freaking you out CAN cause a miscarriage, its not healthy.

a doctor shouldn't of advised her she became into pregnant a HCG of 7 would not point out being pregnant continually> a menopausal women people could have a HCG of 8 or 9 the terrific way is to have 3 blood tests 2 days aside and notice if the stages double
