Both really but what bugs me more than either of them is when you receive a violation for a perfectly good question or answer and it takes them so long to reinstate the points as they have done for me after many complaints to Yahoo. I have had over 200 of these over a 4 week period 60 of which have been given back to me and 140 under investigation.

A violation for an answer given would bug me more I guess; since all is written sometimes the tone with which you write is not the same tone in which the person reading the answer thinks it was written.
I have gotten two violations, one because I wrote a question in Spanish in the English section and the other one because someone thought I was chatting.

On my road to Level 7, I have had two questions removed for "chatting" before they even hit the page. And several answers removed for chatting.( I lost count) What bugs me is others have been a lot more chatty than I and they don't get removed. What gives? I guess having a question removed bugs me the most.

don't be so down in the mouth about it - OK so Q&A's get deleted and points get removed - its not such a big deal - at the time you do tend to take it personally but when you find out that it happens to others it makes you feel that you just fit in - so carry on the good work! but remember Big Brother is watching!

I got one answer deleted as "not a Q or A" Someone asked what everybody thought of his joke, and I answered ":-))".
And I have had several Q deleted, probably because they were "chatty."
The only thing that bugs me about this is obscene and truly hateful or racist stuff stays up...

Violation for an answer that i gave!!!!!!!! I got 2 of them for completely stupid reasons cause according to them it wasnt an answer that i gave them so they reported me!!!! HOW DUMB!!!!!!!!!!
