The wife is very educated and spends long hours at her office. The couple have been married for many years and have grown children. However, she seems so nonchalant about her man flirting and even on occasion going out on "safe" dates with other women. He says the best place to hide something is right under someone's nose..,! Could she really be that clueless and ditzy? Is she just not that into their marriage? Or could she be cheating herself? You think it really is an open marriage of sorts? He says he told her once that it was ok if she wanted to fool around outside their marriage but not to bring home any diseases or problems.

Bingo, in this case it is the man that is clueless. Any woman that does not care that her man is cheating, is definitely doing it first. Hence, the long hours at work. It's amazing what some people will go into denial about. I guess this is perfect, the husband thinks he is getting away with the perfect crime when all along, his wife is the shooter.

You say, "He says" that leads me to believe that a male friend has told you these things about his wife/marriage. If this is the case then he's probably trying to get in your pants and the story is probably a lie. Go the other way. Sorry.

They both sound like a couple of wackos if you ask me.

When are ppl going to start honoring marriage and respect it for what it's intended for?

The whole point of marriage is commitment.

This gets on my nerves. I'm through

Actually it's very common nowadays, it's called Open Marriage. Cheaper to stay together than divorce.

It's wrong, it's outright cheating, and if she doesn't care about her husband cheating, why is she even married to him in the first place if he has to go outside of their marriage, to me it says he doesn't love her, and she's afraid of losing him so she lets it go on.

it is prolly an open marriage where they live together but can go out with other people.... If it is not your relationship I do not see where it is any of your buisness as long as they are happy... just let well enough alone.

she's old school...Long ago, men had like 2 or more different families and people didn't care...It's not like this anymore b/c women have rights too. They vote, they have jobs, and they get divorces...May-be she don't care b/c she's either doing bad herself or just don't care and tired of fussing with him...She's letting him be and she's hoping that he'll come back to her with no drama..

If they are cool with it what business is it of yours. You know not everyone has the same rules as everyone else. Could be many many reasons for this.

Either you are being nosey into someone elses business that does not concern you, or you are cheating with him, which makes you as guilty as all of them

she probably doesn't love him anymore and therefore doesn't care what he does. She probably just likes the lifestyle and the routine that she has.

If I were her, I would take my husbands dirty laundry to the other woman's office, dump them on her desk, and say" if you can f*** him, you can do his laundry too." But that's just me.
