OK first of all, "thumbs way up" on your decision to wait. Too many kids your age feel they have to do everything under the sun by senior prom.

on a practical note as an older married man, I'd say "save it for 3rd month of being engaged" though. You'd be amazed how many couples I've known thought they were a perfect match until "the moment of truth" came.

But for now just concentrate on learning how to be best friends with a young man, being patient and caring and compassionate, and so on. Those are the really important things anyway, that will make a marriage last.

Again, good for you!

There's nothing wrong with that, it's an option that many people take. The only prob is that many people don't get married 'til they're in they're late 20s and they avoid the sexual frusteration and let it all out on premarital. But that's some people.

Who cares? Don't base your decision on what the majority say. You're an individual and what others choose shouldn't change what you choose.

I am Muslim and i waited until I was married. In Islam, you are not even allowed to date and premarital sex is completly out of the question. It is much better, anyone who married you has more respect for you and if you do 'court' the person will have respect for you too because they will know you respect yourself. Don't give into temptation and pressures from other people. You are your own person.

it depends on your belief and what you were brought up with. at the same time, if you are comfortable with that.
