The absolute Rolls Royce of liquid foundation is most definitely (in my opinion) Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.
It has staying power in bucket loads and the finish is incomparable! This is the stuff world class makeup artists (like Pat McGrath) use on famous and beautiful faces.
The price-tag is worth it.
For daily use I adore Revlon Colorstay Makeup Liquid Foundation. It's budge-proof and if you know how to apply liquid foundation properly, the finish is luminous, fresh and natural. Dita Von Teese is a fan of the same product and uses it even for her underwater shows because of its staying power.
I never use pressed powder as I prefer a much more natural finish, I like using liquid foundations for this reason. They give excellent coverage and melt into your skin, giving you a luminescence that doesn't look caked on.

Mary Kay!!! There are 2 types, the regular foundation and the cream to powder foundation. The cream to powder is the best, it finishes like a pressed powder!!! I am a new consultant and I've been using Mary Kay for years. You could call 1-800- MaryKay and they will give you the # to a consultant near you. It's about the same price as Loreal or Revlon. Also everything is 100% guarantee so if you are not satisfied you can get your money back or a different product, no questions asked. I used to have a big problem buying foundation that was the wrong color and then was stuck with it because you couldn't return the used product. Mary Kay does exchange even if you used it for a week. Good luck and I'd be happy to answer any more questions about the product.

A favorite foundation is something that's pretty subjective. I do like Lancome's foundations. Even though L'Oreal owns Lancome, Lancome's foundations beat L'Oreals hands down. The colors and textures are much better than L'Oreals. I have used Clinique and they are good. However, I am currently using Laura Mercier's Flawless Silk Creme. It really is flawless because it doesn't sink into my lines and it is pretty silky because it blends easily.

I really like Tru Blend by Cover Girl. It is whipped and when you put it on it feels silky soft. It covers real well and doesn't leave streaks.I brush a loose powder over to. Some of the sparkly ones are exceptionally nice for evening.

i think Make Up For Ever has a good liquid foundation, called Mat Velvet. it has staying power but is a bit drying. i also like Merle Norman's Foundation Powder (Luxiva). applied w/ wet sponge, it has great coverage.
try www.makeupalley.com for makeup reviews ... lots of people on their vote on if they would purchase again, etc. :)

Arbonne=pure, safe, beneficial. No petrochemicals, no mineral oil, no animal byproducts.
I wear the mineral powder foundation. Don't need powder with it. It's awesome and half the price of Bare Minerals!

I love Mary kay liquid foundation. It has a smooth, flawless finish that stays all day. It also soaks up any excess oil on the skin and prevents breakouts. It doesn't block pores.
Mary Kay is the number one selling product in the USA.

the best, i think , is Lancome Photogenique. it is really light yet covers well!!! not heavy or pore clogging, blends nicely!! i would not recomend anything you can buy at a drugstore, supermarket, etc. for the fact that they sit on those shelves until purchased!!! so the chance of buying something thats been sitting there for a long time is highly likely!!! there is a reason they are cheap too!!! you get what you pay for, and when dealing w/yourface...wouldn't you rather a quality product???
