Make her a coupon book on the computer and print it out. Put stuff in it like one night off from cooking dinner. (then you cook) One day of doing dishes, or cleaning the car, basement bathrooms, babysit your brother or sister for free just to give mom a break. That kinda stuff. Put in in a Christmas card ontop of some store bought chocolates.

I'm not sure exactly what I am going to give my mom for Christmas but I do have some ideas. How about something from Bath and Body Works if she likes lotion and Scent t things or maybe a nice bathrobe and slippers. I hope this helps.

just the small things in life are what matter most to a mom....you just have to know special things that you mom does... i know that my mom goes to the gym alot so i acould get her a new gym bag... she also sews so i could bbuy her something like that... i would probably get her a litttle more than a gift card becayse you want it to be more persobnal... actually take the time to make her feel appreciate... or the idea of just maybe tkaiing her on an iouting somewhere to hang out with you was a good idea too.... your the only one who knows your mom here... decide for yourself

Every year I ask the same question. Mothers are difficult to buy for. However, finding a good book that has interest to her. Does she have a favorite person that maybe has written a biography? You can never go wrong with clothing. I don't do this, but gift certificates to something.

Last year i got alot of people books for Christmas, the one that most people seemed to love was the Feast of the Seven Fishes. It's a awesome combination of comic/cookbook that really envelopes the Christmas sprirt. Not really sure if it might be something that your mom might be into, but it's something to think about nonetheless. Also, I think one of the illustrators does the American Splendor comics, if she likes them then she'll love this book. Here's a link to their site, check them out!

In my opinion anything you give you mother would be nice. Mothers always appreciate the small stuff, its not always about material things. I think what you should do is a mothers and daughters day. Spend the entire day with you mom, go to dinner a movie, get your nails done together, go shopping together. Give her a memory to cherish forever and that means more than anything you could buy. Sometimes the best things in life are free.. :-)

Dear Forneverwillbe:
Consider possibly giving your Mom a nicely wrapped (small) box and inside of it have an IOU for lunch or dinner and inscribe on it an evening with a whole lot of love.

its easy to get gifts for moms, cuz they will never admit that they dont like it :) dont go spend a ton of money, but rather get something that really means something. something she will always remember. a poem, something you made just for her, jewelry, or somethin like cooking her dinner, or giving her a day of relaxation. the simple things often mean the most
