HI, i have a IBM T21 laptop with a S3 Graphics Inc. SavageIX graphics card. It has worked perfectly when i play flight simulator, but after a while, the card for some reason has stopped working. This is the message i get:

Safe mode has been enabled because your system is currently unable to use hardware acceleration. While in safe mode (Im not in safe mode in windows), you will be able to run flight simulator and troubleshoot hardware issues, but performance and display quality will be affected (it has).
Product support services does not support safe mode.

any help to get Flight simulator back up and working would be appreciated.

The chip may be wearing out from improper ventilation. This lack of ventilation is cause by it being in a laptop. While yes you can play games on laptops, they lack the heat dispersion of a PC.

Does this happen all the time after playing the game for a while?
