I'm watching a program on tv at the moment where the presenter is following in the footsteps of Hernando Cortez. He keeps reading from a book which seems to be an account of Hernando Cortez's journey, any idea what that book might be?

The guide to the conquests of Cortez that appears to be the most authoritative is The Conquest of New Spain by Bernal Diaz del Castillo, one of Cortez' officers for the entire journey. B.
