can you help me and my mates. we were talking about a TV show the other day and cant think of the name. it was on TV on a sunday morning i think. it was on BBC1. the show was a game show for children where they went up in a lift and on each level of the lift there was a challenge. the challenges included being 'shrunk' and having to swim in a bowl of alphabet cereal, to find pieces of jigsaw puzzles in a maze and walking on a sort of chess board to get to the other side before a masked man in a cape caught you and 'vaporised' you. i think the presenter was a talking head in the lift.
Everyone i know keeps telling me the game was called nightmare but it definately wasnt that as nightmare was on ITV.
Hope you guys can help. its driving me and my mates barmy!

Ah I so remember this! wasnt there like a vault on the top floor or something?
It wasnt the adventure game thats like a really old 70's type game Im sure this one was in the 90's or sumthin

i remember the adventure game that had guest celebrities in it and i can only remember adult contestants in it, they went up into space in a ship and had to complete a series of tasks to earn coins with shapes on like triangles and circles, at the end one person had to go across the vortex that was just a wiggly shape
it was on in the 80's and repeated i think in the 90's it had someone dressed up in a lizards costume
Can't really remember much about it would love to see it again though, bit like crystal maze!

the show was called the adventure game,they had a bit in it where they used to say "mole,mole go to your hole",knightmare was a dungeons and dragons game where the lead player would wear a helmet on their heads which also acted as a blindfold called the helmet of truth,whilst their friends guided them though a dungeon filled with monsters, hope this helps

it was adventure game.........and those guys on the chessboard were well scary when you were young
