Don't you find it confusing and hard to keep track of comic books and how they always change the series? That why I only read graphic novels.

i gave up on comics long ago because i got tired of the companies changing the history of characters for no reason, and messing things up to just sell a issue or two... they establish things for 40, 50, 60 years, then WHAM, throw it all out the window... FU{K that...

I use to collect comics when i was younger -yes i was a run of the mill comic book nerd girl. But no It all depends on the lines you read for example if you read spiderman- did u collect amazing spiderman, Ultra Spiderman, etc. and yes their stories entwined and sometimes they would during the summer come out bi-weekly making it harder to keep up on collecting but depending on what u collected that ran its toll on graphic novels. Graphic novels sometimes are just collections odf the series of the comic or sometimes entirely for exaple v for vendetta a total comic of its own . So it all depends on your focus and money and time. 'nuff said lol

I totally agree.

That's one of the main reasons (along with Marvel firing Chris Claremont) is why I stopped reading and buying the X-Men.

Chris created some of the best storylines the X-Men ever had: Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past, the Brood Saga. And what was his reward? He gets fired. That's the kind of love Marvel gave him.

Also, why are there SO many different X books out there?

There's like X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, X-Factor, Gen-X, X-Force, etc.

And the movies were even worse. They pretty much stole Chris Claremont's stories and completely bastardized them.

You suck Marvel!
