Political Correctness went too far a long time ago. Things like not being able to pray at high school graduation, not being able to say Merry Christmas are all ridiculous and you can blame the ACLU for that mostly. www.equip.org

Absolutely!!! You have all of the social change of the last sixty years to blame for it. PC is for idiots and goes against human nature. Hopefully, the pendulum will swing the other way and stay there. If it does not; the great Christian Western European civilization we enjoy will be gone forever. ( yes! Western Christian Civilization European is better than any other!) Otherwise, look forward to more thought police and say good bye to freedom! I am not politically correct, I think people who are have no mind of their own and should just shut up and go away. I really don't care who I offend or make uncomfortable. This is because I believe freedom is more important than making everyone feel good. (except for White Christian males...we're everybody's devil! lol) So, let the PC folks say what they will and they will eventually wind up bound by their own constraints. A dog that chases it's own tail eventually bites itself.

The serperation of CHurch in state is not to make it so that a bible cannot be seen in public, it is to keep the government creating its own religion or declaring that only one is allowed. It is to protect religion from the govt, not to protect the govt from religion. And yes I do feel it has gone too far, White people can be called "White Boy" and "Cracker" without any resisitance but if a white person calls anyone else something there is a witch hunt.

To replay to an earlier answer, not being able to pray in a public school is not due to political correctness. Wherever you got that idea was wrong. That is due to the separation of church and state as prescribed in the constitution of the United States.
However, PC has it's place. It has gone too far sometimes, not being able to express yourself clearly due to lack of PC words, or hiding your true feeling are bad aspects.
It is better than, say, it being socially acceptable to use the N word in public. That is an advantage.
Like everything, there are degrees.

Anything that offends another person in my mind is wrong.
Why is it necessary to offend anybody in the first place...does that make you feel bigger or better?
Aren't we all grown-up enough to act morally responsible?
Profiling people sometimes gets innocent people hurt or even killed.
You questions sound like you live with blinders on.....step into another person's shoes for just a minute and see how it feels....then ask these questions.

Yes it has. It has caused everyone to dissemble. We still have the right to free speech in this country.
