CPU to TV question.?

I am trying to create a WinXP machine where I can play a DVD or movie file on a TV while being able to run other applications on a VGA monitor(s). Can I achieve this with S-Video out to the TV or must the TV be able to support a VGA input?

That should work. I believe you can extend your screen across s-video. You may want to get a dual core processor for this though. Also, a decent video card.
