I heard that it was painless and pretty effective?
Anyone know anything about hair removal from personal experience? About how long does it last, how much did it cost?

It is not 100% painless, especially if you visit a "cheaper" salon that may not be fully and properly trained. I have seen people be burned by improperly trained technicians.

It is not 100% effective. It works best on dark hair and light skin, so the laser can easily find the root of the hair in the skin and papillae. Sometimes you need to return for several follow-up visits, some people (fine, light hairs) do not have much success not matter what.

Call and see who offers no-obligation consultations and ask for an opinion (keeping in mind they want to make money). Depending on the area you want to have done, it can cost $75 for upper lip for one visit. Bikini can cost $200.

Laser hair removal is “permanent” hair removal method but is expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
