tag teams don't come any more technically sound than that.
The Brain Busters were a great team as well (Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard)
As for these days, Paul London & Brian Kendrick were two of the best that ROH had to offer, so I'm sure they're doing very well in the WWE.

It has to be THE HARDY BOYZ all the way because look at Matt first. He does all the ground work not as much flying. Jeff does high flying move (SWANTON BOMB) not as much ground which makes a good balance.
Then D-generation X are great tag team with Sweet chin music, Pedigree, etc. Mostly they're just a funny tag team like APA and Headbangers.
