It depends on the mentality of your daughter, if you think that she is mentally mature enough to wear lingerie than she is old enough. She is 16 years old and she probably is curious about her sexuality and she is exploring(not meaning particapating in sexual acts). Everyone explores when they turn a certain age, some younger like your daughter and some when they get older it is just a way of finding out who you are. Talk to your daughter and find out if she is exploring for herself or others. If for herself then she is old enough.

girls these days are growing up FAST. i think it's ok at 16, but not too much, and not too often. she is going to start experimenting w/ boys soon (if not already), and trust me they find places, whether in the car in a parking lot or someone's house w/ no parents. so the sexier lingerie she wears, the danger lies in how interested she is in letting others see it! i think i would limit it to "special occasions" like special lingerie under dresses when going to a part or something..but not for everyday, so she knows it's for special occasions and not to show off to just anyone.

You are never too young to wear sexy lingerie. Lets just say i am not older than 13 and i already wear sexy langerie.

13....at 16 i was wearing lingerie, my mother gave me lingerie at 15 yrs old.

I think that right now that is your desicion to make. I live with my grandparents and I'm fourteen. My grand ma set the rule that until i'm 17 I'm not allowed to wear anything except white underclothing. I think that unless some one else is going to see it there is no use and at her age she shouldn't be showing a guy any of her stuff.
