Does anyone like Carl Hiaasen's work?

What's his best book? I was thinking of buying Skinny Dip.

Yes, I do. He is absolutely brilliant. All his books are wonderful, I would hesitate to put anyone above the rest. The character of the Florida Governor who has dropped out and 'gone native' who appears in a number of the books is just wonderful. I'm surprised Dade County hasn't declared Hiaasen a permanent 'persona non grata'!

My personal favorite is "Skin Tight". "Strip Tease" is up there, too.
