Neither, they are both very clean and intelligent animals. Any animal will smell if they are not cleaned out regulary, in the wild they clean themselfs and keep their area clean, they also use the toilet in one area of their living space so that they do not get mess every where.

If you mean a rat or a guinea pig than it's a pig. Piggies drink up to 10 times the amount of water as a rat, therefore the cage is much harder to keep clean and not smelling of urine.

Neither if clean. It depends on which is dirtiest, what they got dirty with, what they have been eating, and anything else you can think of that emits an odor. If we go without washing or brushing our teeth for a few months in the middle of summer and eat only smelly cheese, and there is a clean rat and a clean pig.....who will smell worse?

A Pig. Believe it or not a rat is not the dirty critter everyone claims they are. If they are kept as pets or raised for reptile food you learn real quick they are very clean. they do not like a dirty cage and they don't like it to get wet either.

I had a rat and a pig in the same pen. The rat moved out because he said the pig stank. ! ! ! !

rats are. Pigs are very clean, only people leave them in dirty conditions. Rats will urinate wherever they go and it stinks.
