Alright so I want a horror book, something to do with a stalker or anything like that. And over 200 pages, I hate mystery books just so you know. I mean like where theres a detective, don't worry if it's for adult or not- been there, read that.

Aren't horror stories usually a kind of mystery? You're trying to figure out what goes bump in the night...

You might try Dragon Tears by Dean Koontz. It's really good.
It starts out with a detective who is forced to shoot a man. Next he is warned and later stalked by a homeless stranger that he (the detective) will be dead in 16 hours....dead by dawn.

It's not exactly horror, but it'll keep you thinking for about a week if you read Frankenstein. I had to read it for school, and it was bad at first, but trust me, it's a good book.

Read some Clive Barker books...or American Psycho

They're sick as hell.

If that's not what you wanted...then you'd better restate your question.
