I think 40 is too young to be going through menopause. Take a pregnancy test, if its negative, call your doctor. You may have had an annovulatory cycle (no egg dropping, means no period). If this is the case, he may give you something to induce your period. I havnt had mine since october 14, i am not pregnant, but having an annovulatory cycle.

Take a test and call your doctor.

Well if you had sperm anywhere near that area of your body and you had an egg floating around then it is possible.... it only takes a real good swimmer to make it happen...

Or you could be going through the change I would ask your doctor to do a blood test to see what if and hormones are there... and just take a home test to see to ease your mind until then

keep warm

If you haven't been "diagnosed" with menopause, I would think you could be pregnant. But, it may be that you are starting menopause or maybe you just hadn't ovulated the past few cycles.

My best friend had a baby when she was 42. Anything is possible, but it could also be menopause starting up!

my mother had my younger sibling at age 41 almost 42 so yeah. please dont wait to see a doctor because my mother wrote it off as going through "the change" and was still smoking and drinking. thank god he was born ok. just be careful because it would be a high risk pregancy.
