Gap, Old Navy and Banana Rep are owned by the same company. Gap is supposed to be target at the mid level consumer that has money to spend on some decent quality and fashionable clothes. Old Navy is supposed to be the entry level store that has clothes for the whole family at the lowest prices in their chain. The quality might not be the best but its a lot cheaper.

Old Navy is part of GAP. Banana Republic is part of GAP too.
Old Navy clothes are the cheapest, GAP are more expensive, and BananaRepublic are way more expensive.

The Name On the Label, They are the same company and Have the same clothes, but Gap is more expensive.

I dont like them but:
Gap- More than old navy, kinda of classy
Old navy- Cheap, sporty

Gap is divided n2 kids and adults, old navy is just 1 big store full of adults, kids, and infants.

gap is more expensive and more professiona; in its style of clothing
old navy is cheaper, and to me its style is more collegiate
i think old navy's kids clothes are funner adn cooler then the gaps
