and they get leapfrogged by a team that was .054 behind them in the BCS. A team that should have lost to Tennessee should have lost to South Carolina, struggled against Florida State, looked bad against Vandy, whom Michigan dominated; and lost to Auburn by 10.

Because the BCS doesn't work. Here is what would work:
Weekend of December 16th.

1: Ohio State vs.
8: Boise State

4: LSU vs.
5: Louisville

3: Michigan vs.
6: Oklahoma

2: Florida vs.
7: Wisconsin

Weekend of December 23rd

1/8 Winner vs.
4/5 Winner

6/3 Winner vs.
2/7 Winner

Then, on Jan. 8th.

HAVE A REAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!

P.S. Go K-State!!

I'll tell you why. The voters voted against a rematch and not for the top 2 teams in the country (which is what you are supposed to do!)

If you remember Before USC lost...well everyone was saying how it's USC then Michigan and that Florida was too far behind to make it. Well it was very easy to say USC and then Michigan because everyone thought that USC would cruise. But when they lost, THEN they needed a team that would PREVENT the rematch...So Florida it is!

Florida didn't have that great of a game when beating Arkansas so I don't see how you say that match helped them. Heck they were about to lose it until the Arkansas punt returner decides to go after a ball that is kicked in his own 10 and going over his head (what was he thinking).

If USC had won then Michigan and Florida would have stayed at 3 and 4!

And just to let everyone know...It doesn't say anywhere in the rulebook that you have to win your confrence to make the Championsip!

I'm not sure what you mean by "should have lost to..." because well, Florida didn't lose to those teams. They had the toughest schedule in the country and went 12-1 and won the SEC, which is the hardest conference. Where are the facts that Michigan is better? I don't see them, so I'm sticking with Florida at #2.

people voted with there heart. If they did not want to see a rematch, then they would vote for Florida. It's all about the ratings. They must have figured a rematch whould've drawn a smaller audience. So I guess screw whats fair. I'm not a OSU fan by any means, but on Jan. 8th. Go Buckeyes!

If the computer really worked... Michigan would be playing a rematch with OSU. I don't mind that we are off to the Rose Bowl though. The Rose Bowl is THE most watched college bowl came in the country. It's a respected bowl game and it's all about tradition... just like it's all about blue, baby!

OK, Whinny Wolvereenies need to GET OVER IT. Look, we all know that the National Championship game happened in November and YOU LOST. DEAL WITH IT. We should not have to play you again, you lost fair and square. Besides, why do that to poor Lloyd Carr-two losses to the Buckeyes in one season-give the poor guy a break. As for the National Championship, GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

Michigan is #3 because the people in charge of ranking the teams did not want to see another OSU vs. Michigan game.

Michigan already had its shot at OSU and lost.

Move on....

I totally agree with you. I told everyone that it should be OSU and Michigan for the championship. Don't understand it at all.

They got robbed time to move on.

They are the slightest dog (-1.5) to USC so they better focus on the rose bowl
