You didn't explain how. I was almost ripped off 297.75 (something like that) from a company called Lions Gate Consulting. They claim they are a government based who helps people find grants with a small refundable fee of 297.75. Basically, I got this yellow postcard sent in the mail stating I was eligible for a $5000 college grant. Well, I found out they were a scam by looking them up online on rippoffreport.com. When I told them I didn't want to go through with it, they were very mad and defensive over the phone. They asked for my social security number, checking account number, CA ID #, and everything else you can think of. People are scandalous...u can't trust anyone these days! Well, I decided to call them again to make sure they were lying. I gave them made-up personal info and they said "let me look in my computer to see if u qualify...yes you do." Also, be careful...do not buy anything online even on ebay. I have another story on that.

Nothing really unless you have proof, but it's not worth going through all the court stuff for just 200 dollars. Just accept this as a mistake and go on and don't make the same mistake.

It depends Hector. If it was a person who took $200 from you, then report it to the police. If it was a company (like a bank or credit card co) that "took" $200 without authorization, then contact their customer service number. Good luck.

well if you got documentation.. and that person is available.. get a lawyer.. and it's small claims court time.

make sure you have enough paper work and evidence....

call a lawyer for small claims... talk to them and they'll help you along see what you can do about this problem.
