Just like in the first answer, Sabu has been slacking off big time. He's been missing house shows, dark matches, and now a major PPV because of it. He's rumored to be begging the NWA to let him back into TNA. This also may be because higher-ups at WWE have been quoted loosely on saying that he's only good for extreme matches, and can't function with regular stipulations.

Sabu's been acting bad backstage recently because he wants to leave the company, he's obviously one who too thinks the new ECW is a total disaster and wants to go TNA, and so due to backstage behaviour, ECW made a stint where he was 'jumped and beaten to near death' backstage, we never saw the beating, just him lying down 'KOd', and he was taken out on an ambulance, so he was replaced by Hardcore Holly! Shame, I really wanted to see Sabu with that chair and table!

sabu has been "trying to get fired" and has shown laziness and poor professionalism, and WWE made a gimmick about him being released from the hospital, but that is probably false and just an excuse to teach Sabu a lesson...

maybe sabu didnt want to ruin his good name by being part of the worste ppv in wrestling history.. we can only hope sabu and rvd, even cm punk for that matter can get to tna before ecw/wwe ruins them

i don't know about sabu but bobby lashley is the new ecw chamkpion. he speared the bigh show
