Press and hold the alt key and press 3 on the number pad then release the alt key ♥
you can manke alot of other things two by useing other numbers this is 1 through 20

Just make sure you hold alt while typeing the number on the number pad, also keep in mind that not all programs or fonts will accept every character you can make and sometimes they will just show up as a blank square

One way to make a black, upright heart (the only trouble is, it has a slightly bent tail, but otherwise, it is pretty good) is .... if you have Windows XP, then select the typestyle ("font") called Webdings, and type in the letter Y. The letter Y makes a heart shape in Webdings. If you have some other software than Windows XP, then try your other typestyles, the ones with the weird names, and one of them may give you a better heart.
These instructions work in Outlook Express, but I don't know if they work in all programs. The instructions above, from Zerfall, about using the Alt key, didn't work for me here in Yahoo!.
