yes plain in simple they are the second best team in the nation with their only loss coming to number 1 ohio state by three at ohio state. Who cares if they didnt win their conference they are the second best team in the nation regardless. And also its not their fault florida gets to play another game then them. You shouldnt get passed up in the rankings if you didnt play that week. Lloyd carr and the wolverines shoul be pissed and i hope all you florida fans enjoy watching your team get their *** kicked by a far superior ohio state team. I guess it was an early chritmas present to florida since they bitched and moaned about the bcs and how if they didnt get in its a joke. Way to go urban meyer and the president of florida you guys are a bunch of complainers that got your way.
OSU-45 Fl-17 in the title game
Oh and pelouse or whatever your name is..... a weak out of conference scheduele?? Give me a break they played notre dame at notre dame and won by 26 compared to florida's best out of conference opponent which is florida state (6-6) in which they only won by 7. Get your facts straight before you say something.

The real question should be if USC would have won would Florida still have jumped Michigan in the polls?
As far as being screwed the Whole BCS is screwed not just Michigan.
But....
Michigan already had their shot at Ohio State.
Michigan Didn't win their conference.
They had a weak schedule.

Yes, I do. Lose one game and it was to the #1 team in the country. A game that Michigan would probably have won if they had been playing at Michigan. Yep, screwed big time!!

No. I don't think they got screwed. Here are my reasons.
1. They already lost to Ohio State.
2. They didn't' t win their conference.
3. They didn't play for two whole weeks like USC and Florida.
4. They had a week non-conference schedule.
5. It wouldn't make sense to have two Big Ten schools in the BCS Championship game.

let's wait and see. if OSU blows Florida and the SEC away, then yes Michigan should have had a 2nd chance. If the play it close, then FL deserved the shot.

OH MY GOD. ALL YOU MICHIGAN HOMOS NEED TO STOP CRYING ABOUT IT. They lost to OSU. No one wants a rematch except the Michigan fans. They lost and OSU should only have to prove that they are better once a season.
SO STOP CRYING ABOUT IT AND SHUT UP.
GO BENGALS.

Because we didn't play the last two weeks. Because the voters were voting against a rematch and not for the best two teams. And finally because USC lost. If USC had won then there is no way for Florida to leapfrog us. But when USC lost then the voters needed a team to prevent the rematch, so Florida it is!
(sounds pretty unfair to me!)
Bottom line is that the BCS JUST PLAIN OUT DOESN'T WORK!!!
