Put the glass in the freezer. When the wax freezes, the wax will just pop off, by using your fingernail easily.

If the wax is a thin layer and is smeared onto the glass, do this.......Use the wax remover that comes with the Sally Hensen wax Hair Removal kits.

I've used it many times. I'll bet you can just simply purchase the bottles of wax remover at the drug store.
You might even try calling a candle shop such as "Wicks and Sticks. I'll bet they carry it.

Easy.. use a razor blade to scrape it off.. holding the blade at a 45 degree angle when pushing it forward to scrape off what wax you can... THEN.. take a soft, absosrbant rag and hold it over the spot where the wax was and a small amount remains.. and put a hot or hottish iron over the rag and hold it.. the heat from the iron should melt the wax and the wax should be absorbed into the cloth

Stick it in the freezer. The wax will not only turn hard, but will shrink a bit more than the glass will. After a couple of hours in the freezer it will easily pop right off the glass.

I have some stuff called De-Solv-It Citrus Solution. It says on the container it removes candle wax. It is a good cleaner. You can get it in the cleaning section of Wal-Mart.

If it's soy wax you will need to use hot soapy water to get the streaky film off.
