If you must know, but I won't be a spoiler here, basically it differs from the anime a little, it goes on telling detail stories about Eric's father, and some weird transformation of one of the Humonculus. There was a story I like, where it tells about the State Alchemist attacking Scar's village and how Scar got his tattoed hand. The manga stories are long and intresting.
