The stain is blue/gray in color, and is on a light pink cotton shirt.

Try Dawn dish soap, it might get it out but it really sounds like you might have to get a new shirt. Dawn is really great for getting grease stains out so you might have a chance. I have a daughter that loves to get her clothes dirty and so far Dawn has been working for everything so far. I hope it works for you!!

If you dried the shirt in the dryer you are probably out of luck. Drying sets the stain.

If you have dried it the shirt is shot.
Try scrubbing it with a small amount of liquid detergent I could just be the oil from the machine

You could try washing it again, using spray n wash and the hottest water the fabric can take. Good Luck.

Try a product called Oops. Find it by the paint thinner.
