should I use my laptop on AC power, or should I unplug it when it's charged, let the battery drain and then recharge it?

also, how bad is it to start charging the battery when there's still some power in it?

and how bad is it not to charge the battery fully? i often find myself having to unplug the charger for various reasons before the charging is complete.

Your laptop battery will last longer if you let it drain completely, and then charge it completely. Because each battery has a certain number of charges it can go through at max before it stops working.

But don't, for example, not charge it when you know you'll need it for an extended time.
