The following songs are winter songs and make no reference to Christmas, and could be played from the first day of winter (or from the first snowfall) until the first day of spring. But radio stations only play them along with Christmas music. Can you think of any others? Jingle Bells, Jingle Bell Rock, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Marshmallow World, Frosty the Snowman, (Here Comes) Suzy Snowflake, Toyland, March of the Toys..................

i became into an announcer at a significant marketplace radio station for various years. motives why i left the station and finally the proffesion is corresponding to what your conversing of...radio now with deregulation is a business enterprise of experts. ive on no account understood why people supposedly experienced interior the entertainment field could choose people to tell them what to do yet curiously radio stations employ those persons to tell them what to play and while to play it. for this reason, if it doesnt in effective condition format or the timing isnt good for notwithstanding reason the song is going. for this reason, an excellent style of the creativity is long previous. all cities have a mix station and all oldies all of the time station etc. i shuttle from city to city on the weekends and balk once I pay attention all of the liners that the announcers examine... as an occasion, i ought to truly provide a rats azz much less in case you have a fifty two minute song hour, if thats the terrific you may furnish to entertain me, i actually could hit the channel buttton etc. what the experts dont comprehend is people fairly choose to be entertained and the cookie cutter form format station in lots of circumstances works while your people have no longer something greater efficient to declare. radio has grow to be vast business enterprise approximately vast money and the thank you to combat that's to ***** once you pay attention rubbish and with any luck the pd will pay attention and inject some humanity into the on air sound.

Many of us get sickened when we hear them in November and by the time christmas comes, they are so over played that we don't want to hear them for at least another year!!! If it was a once in awhile thing- with out them being over played, I don't think anyone would really care it we had them all year.
