I think the hen came first in this world because for an egg to hatch, it needs the warmth of a hen to hatch

Hen is the name of a species of an animals. It was evolved from other animals that bear eggs before them. Dinsaurs bear eggs also, and some branch of it evolved into the fowls and birds. So there were eggs prior to the ancestor of hen.

Have to agree with First L, egg came first. The change in DNA to change or adapt would only come from new brons which come from the egg.
