No. Because without borders and belonging to a country people will just drift and take, instead of staying put and making changes. Or too many will settle in certain areas depleating the resources and once it's ruined just drift somewhere else. There's people who might settle in and make a commitment and turn some lousy place back to a productive one only then to have a bunch come in and reap the benefits. It's just an observation, but I think it's natural to mark off an area as your own. Whether it be your home, camp-site, town, state or country. Animals even it do it. Like it or not.....people need boundries.

The world is too big for No Borders. It will always need to be parceled out with different government entities.

Also most countries do allow people to work in their countries as long as it's done legally. With work visas and permits that you have to renew every once and a while.

You can also become a citizen of another country by going through the proper channels. So to me the Borders are open enough for those citizens of our great planet who want to do things legally.

A world without borders means a world without cultures.

No, it should not be without borders. Basic logic would dictate that the bad people of the world would view it as permission to walk into whatever country served their purpose and just help themselves to anything they wanted. Not that it isn't happening now anyway, but that's no reason to remove the stigma of committing a "wrong" act.

There is already a border around this world. The vacuum of space. As long as humans have weapons, we need borders.

Maybe one day we wont...look at EU people of one country can travel to any 1 freely. No borders would only work if all the people are at stable economic condition so the MDCs wouldn't get over crowded b poor uneducated people.

Hell no!!! It's bad enough the trash we have sneak in here and live and work tax free. We have to draw the line somewhere and hold our moral ground or we will turn into just another third world country.

As usual, pink angel gets it wrong.

"This illegal alien" thing is about the importance of law, of our culture, language, legal system, health care system, etc. Those things might not matter to YOU, but they matters to most people.
