Funny that Scott said "Loyalty means EVERYTHING to me... I have been a Dolphins fan for"
Men don't appreciate what comes easily for them. Read Love Smart by Dr. Phil.
Women somtimes lose their power to men, becuase we are on some silly quest to become a perfect wife. We want a perfect wedding, be a perfct wife, and the rest will follow.
Do you really think men grow up dreaming of getting married? No, they don't. Think back to how you were when you first met. Where you different? Have you changed? Has he changed? What was he attracted to in the first place? Reinvent yourself.
p.s. I also agree that if he leaves, he is looking for a quick fix, the grass is greener on the other side.

I dont think loyalty is on there mind when they do this it could be a midlife crisis. I also think maybe they have done this before and its just in them. what ever there reasons are it has nothing to do with you it is there problem and they are the only ones that can fix it. So think more of yourself and decide if you can live with something like this maybe seek counceling or another kind of help for you. And if you are dating stay away from men that do this because if they do it once they will do it again and again and again. No sense in being part of that you deserve alot better.

All people have some concept of loyalty, but an absolute, unthinking loyalty can be occasionally as bad as a total lack of it.
If the men no longer feel that they can love or care for their women then remaining "loyal" just doesn't make sense for either party. There's a certian point where it's better to just let go.

Thank you! That is same thing I ask myself and even more when i learn that a celebrity of TV's husband cheated on her with someone uglier. It amazes me because you would think that men want beauty yet this happens and when they have a not pretty girl but good girl they still cheat on her with a worthless, so I really dont know what they want...and dont tell me you have to be good in bed, because I highly doubt that some of this beautiful women are not good in bed... i guess loyalty doesnt mean anything to them unless you are his buddy... =S

There are a million reasons why a man would leave their wife for someone else but they all amount to not being happy with their wife. It's not the wife's fault, it's not the husband's fault.
There are many different types of loyalty. What about being loyal to one's self? If a man stays with his wife but isn't happy, is he being loyal to himself? In doing so, is he really being loyal to her?

Everyone obviously has different circumstances whether they be genuine dissatisfaction at home or a temporary lapse of judgment. For example, maybe their wife isn't as satisfying or supportive as she used to be. This isn't an exclusively male thing, either. Women cheat, too, for the same reasons. In fact, I know of more women who have left their husbands for other men for equally ridiculous, and at times cruel, reasons.

Well I think its because of several things. Perhaps there unhappy. But even if they are unhappy they should talk about it. But guys arent great when it somes to emotions. Or sometimes they think its the coolest thing in the wotld to do and the wife will love it. Take one guy on Dr.Phil. Wanted his wife and his gf. He said it was an experament. He thought it was ok and saw nothing wrong with it. I guess it all just depends on the guy and the situation.

Some women do the same things to their husbands for another man (or woman, as the case may be.) The real question is...why would the woman they left their wife for want them in the 1st place, as they'll soon be left for yet another...or cheated on for years.

Maybe they're not getting what they want out of the relationship. Sticking around in a bad relationship for the sake of loyalty is foolish if it leaves you unhappy and resentful.
