There are two ways that I know of ...

#1: go to a truck stop or trucking supply website and buy a set of Christmas lights that run on a 12v/14v power supply, OR

#2: buy a power inverter and plug your regular house Christmas lights into the power inverter, and plug the power inverter into your cigarette lighters.

Yes but you will need to buy a power inverter. For a string of lights you shouldn't have to spend more than 30-40 bucks for one. You can getthem at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, eBay, Auto Parts Stores, J.C. Whitney, Northen Industrial Tool, Harbor Freight, Etc. With the inverter you are able to run regular household 110v items.

What a great idea. A speeding Christmas's tree involved in a rear end collision. "officer I thought it was a tree in the road and I hit the breaks"
What you need is an inverter. Probably a 1000 watt inverter by the sounds of your idea. I bet you get busted though.
