does anyone know how to properly dispose of old, dull kitchen knives? i have too many to count and need to get rid of them, but don't know how.

wrap them up in newspaper and stuff them in an empty cereal box, this way the won't poke thru the garage bag and cut someone.

ktwister is right! A trash man or landfill worker may come in contact with the bag so it's best if they are wrapped and boxed.

I just throw my in the trash? You could wrap them up safely in a box that is tied shut and then donate it to good will..or wrap i tup in the box and throw it away.

Either give away or donate them (Good Will, Salvation Army, Deseret) or wrap them up and throw them away.-They won't hurt the landfill.

take them to a pond shop.
or call a knive shop and ask them what they would recommend.

you can always scrap them for the value of the bare metal.
