I could never listen - and probably still can't - to Billy Vera and the Beaters' "At This Moment" without sobbing maniacally. The person in the song sounded so mind-bogglingly pathetic (he'd "fall down on [his] knees, kiss the ground that you walk on" and "subtract 20 years from [his] life," etc.) that I couldn't help but weep for him!
