Did they put you on bedrest? I had this at 21 weeks. It was caused by incompetent cervix. It is when the cervix is not strong enough and when the bag of water combined with the weight of the baby cause the sac to come through the opening of the cervix. My water broke and I lost my daughter because of this.

It means you'll need to be laying down and on bed rest.
no sitting up.

the pressure can rupture your amniotic sack, which is the bag of waters that your baby lives in, with out out it he has no way to protect him self and it usually means you'll deliver shortly there after.

but it also means your baby can have medical health problems if delivered to early.

So make sure you listen to your doctor.

And don't push out a bowl moveent as the pressure can also rupture the sack. And break your water.

If you are in labor ad the sack is protruding it means that the baby is coming but the water hasn't broken yet. but usually your doctor will break it for you.

That means it's protruding from the cervix. It also means that you're in labor. Best wishes!
