Funny that I researched this very thing today. RU-486, otherwise know as mifepristone, is effective for up to two months in larger doses than commonly found in "morning after" ECs. However, if conception has occurred, you are really just chemically terminating and early stage pregnancy (having an abortion).

I have read like 12 pregnancy questions today. Are people in this day and age really that ignorant on this subject?

If you stick a penis in your vagina, there is a posibility that you can become pregnant. It is as simple as that.

Why not just have protected sex? Is it that hard to be responsible. Do you want to be pregnant? Do you want an STD? Is an STD or contracting HIV your goal? Is it worth jeopardizing your health and/or life?

One more thing. Contraception prohibits the sperm and egg from uniting. So if intercourse has already taken place, then the answer is yes it is too late. Then your only choice to not continue the pregancy would be an abortion.

You can get the morning after pill, but I think it might be a little too late. But it's not a lost cause, you can have an abortion. The earlier better.

The morning after pill. You have 102 hours to act after you have unprotected sex.

No...so sorry. The next step is to monitor your menstrual cycle, and perhaps get a home pregnancy test and/or see a doctor.

Not unless you're someone who uses abortion as a contraception.

You MIGHT be able to get the morning after pill, but you have to get it from a doctor.
