I think Neville will be the one that kills Voldemort and die by doing it. I think Harry was the red herring all this time.

Nope, I don't think so. Although I do think Neville will be significantly involved yet. The prophecy said that the Dark Lord would 'mark' the one who could defeat him...which is what he did when he attacked Harry as a baby.

I do think Harry will survive. Snape will not- he's really still on the 'right' side- his killing of Dumbledore was part of D's plan all along. (The argument that was overheard between D & S at the edge of the forest and S' unwillingness to go ahead with some pre-agreed upon thing.) Anyway, I already answered a similar question so am quitting here!

This is pretty typical, but I think that Harry will be the one to kill Voldemort. Neville doing it would be a bad and disappointing ending. Harry has to be the hero. He's always been the hero. What could happen, however, is that someone very dear, perhaps even Harry himself, will die also.

That's an interesting theory...I don't know how it will end, nor do I want to venture a guess. I'm anxious to find out though...
