Not great - if you purchased the Apple Extended Warranty, you'll be all set, otherwise you'll have to go third party or get a new one. There are a lot of shops on Tottenham Court Road in London that will do this, but ultimately it will probably be cheaper to get a new Nano or Shuffle.

If you bought an extended warranty with the store you bought it from, then take it up with them. However if not, then your apple 12month has expired and you will need to buy a new battery im afraid. Im unsure as to how much they are, but i've heard them running up to and including £90.
